Dr. Emma Beddow is a thoracic surgeon at Hallfield Hospital, treating insured and private patients under the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK. From 1989 to 1994, Dr. Beddow completed his medical studies at London Hospital Medical College (now part of the Bath London School of Medicine and Dentistry) in the UK. In 1998, he completed his training and became a specialist at the Royal College of Surgeons in the UK. From 2000 to 2006, Dr. Beddow became a registered specialist in thoracic surgery and was appointed as a consultant thoracic surgeon at Halfield Hospital in December 2006.

Overseas doctors visited the specialized departments of Royal Brompton and Highfield hospitals to observe Beddow and his colleagues' technical and clinical operations.
